Located in The outskirts of Visby, Hop Shed Brewery is a local craft beer brewery, focusing on small-batch beers with inovative flavors.

The Hop Shed Brewery opened in 2013 and is located on the amazing island of Gotland. Sweden. Over the last few years we have built up our brewery, becoming well known, far and wide for our variety of hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind ales, porters and stouts. Whether you enjoy one of our beers at specially selected restaurants on Gotland, or enjoy a beer tasting on location in Hästnäs we strive to make sure you get a quality hand crafted beer.

We started out homebrewing in our kitchen, and moved to a shed. Out in the sticks in Follingbo. By 2015 we had outgrown our shed, and began to plan our next brewery. We found a property in the sticks, in Visby and began building in January 2016. Our new production brewery is now capable of producing around 30,000 Ltrs a year.

We Brew our beer using a Camurri 400ltr brewhouse.

We ferment in Pressure and non pressure tanks. After fermentation is complete, We either can or keg our beers.When we keg the beer, we use keykeg single use kegs. They are 100% recyclable, and are light weight. Helping reduce our carbon footprint during transport.

Beers that end up in cans are filled by hand, two cans at a time. We have recently invested in a manual canning machine from cask canning in canada. Cans are then labelled with a paper label to show the true handcraft thats inside every can. All of our artwork has been designed by HILL MARKETING Visby.
